From Passion to Career

I had always been passionate about business, and after completing grade 12 in the summer of 2020, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in this field. I considered various options within the commerce stream but ultimately decided on the ACCA qualification.

The ACCA qualification was appealing to me for several reasons. First, it is a globally recognised qualification, which opened up the possibility of international career opportunities. Second, the curriculum is comprehensive and covers a wide range of business & finance topics, which gave me a well-rounded education. Third, the ACCA qualification is highly respected by employers, which would give me a competitive edge in the job market.

I began my ACCA journey in September 2020 at Synthesis Learning while pursuing B.Com at Podar College. The team at Synthesis Learning was incredibly supportive and provided me with all the resources I needed to succeed. They helped me develop a study schedule, provided me with access to high-quality study materials, and gave me the opportunity to practice my skills through mock exams.

I studied diligently for the next two and a half years and passed all my exams on the first attempt. I was thrilled to become an ACCA Affiliate in January 2023 finally. The past two and a half years have been challenging but also incredibly rewarding. I have learned a great deal about business and finance, and I have developed the skills that I need to succeed in my career.

I am now looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills I gained during my ACCA journey in the workplace. I am confident that I have the qualifications and experience to be successful in any business environment.
